"Chick Flick Night" Takes Off in Tampa With the Help of Butlers in the Buff

This Saturday, May 16, in Tampa, loads of ladies celebrated all things girly at "Chick Flick Night," which kicked off, fittingly, with Grey "Goose Bridetinis," swag bags and the incomparable company of Butlers in the Buff, Florida's hottest new British import. Always the life of the party, the Butlers led the ladies onto a party bus, where they were whisked away to the red-carpet VIP premiere of "Bridesmaids."

Needless to say, us Gabbers are a little jealous. We can't wait for the Butlers to serve us again at one of our South Florida events or pop into the office for a visit.

Artopia 2011 | Behind the Scenes

The art vanguard gathered at Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge last night for Artopia 2011, a stylish kaleidoscope of South Florida's culture and fashion scene. Outside on the lush courtyard, 12 MasterMinds finalists displayed their art, guests indulged on decadent crème brulée and sipped Zywiec beer and cucumber-infused Hendrick's Gin, and DJ Brett the Hitman provided the high-energy soundtrack that set the tone for the evening. Inside the Red Room, body-paint split artist Erin Barylski, as seen on America's Got Talent, flipped her paint-covered body onto a large floor spread that would become her rainbow-colored canvas. Meanwhile, chiseled Butlers in the Buff made their rounds through the crowd, offering guests an eyeful of their shirtless physiques as well as trays of hors d'œuvres from Prime and Il Bacio.

While all of this was going on, Gab was backstage and down the street at Naked Hair Salon, busily directing the festivities and assisting the models, who were having their hair styled with signature avant garde creations, bohemian waves, braids, and the evening's defining free-flowing texture. When showtime rolled around, the models were styled to perfection, taking to the runway in globally inspired Charli Girls fashions: collar bone-grazing feather earrings, flowing dresses, bikinis, and  tribal accessories.

Gab's 'Girls Night Out': The Search Is On For Eligible Butlers in the Buff

Founder Alex Jones with The Gab Group PR Director Michelle Soudry
Last night, Gab hosted a rowdy Girls Night Out event at Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge, featuring a casting call for U.K. sensation Butlers in the Buff™!

The lucky attendees, who sipped free cocktails from 7 to 11 p.m.,  participated in the interactive casting call for the  Butlers in the Buff™ Florida team, the first  U.S. team of its type.

Nine fit and friendly male contestants competed for a coveted Butlers in the Buff™ staff position. Not only did the men have to be attractive and in good shape, but they had to be charming, polite and well-spoken.

After being asked a few impromptu interview questions by The Gab Group PR Director Michelle Soudry, Butler potentials were put to the test and asked to serve ladies in the audience clad in a bow-tie, cuffs, apron, and, naturally, no shirt.

Aspiring Butlers were awarded in three categories: MVB (Most Valuable Butler), won by Cameron Ricci, Most Buff Butler, won by Billy Kiraly, and Mr. Congeniality, won by Dan Palisay. The winners were awarded a gift certificate to Naked Hair Salon in Delray Beach.

Butlers in the Buff™ Florida is available in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Aventura, the Palm Beaches, Naples, Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Daytona. BITB is available for a variety of customizable events, including bachelorette parties (known as “hen parties” in the U.K.), corporate events, wedding receptions, birthdays, and private parties.
